In Hertfordshire we have two state of the art centres designed to offer young people an alternative space to thrive in their education. Our unique approach combining boxing, vocational learning, and academic support has allowed us to deliver measurable outcomes for the young people in the Hemel Hempstead and Stevenage communities.
Services our centres provide
Boxing & Martial Arts
Each of our centres feature a purpose-built boxing facility, equipped with an on-site gym area. Students have the opportunity to gain a Young Leaders Qualification with a focus on Sports Leadership, and eventually a Level 3 Sports Leadership Qualification.
Barbering Academy
MG Support Services have an impressive in-house barbering facility, lead by expert tutors who run their own salon businesses. This qualification provides a route to independence, and is a great way to earn income.
Building & Construction
Our on-site Introduction to Building & Construction course provides an NOCN Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development - Construction.
Mentoring & Counselling
We have an on-site counselling service should students wish to speak with someone. We also have a dedicated team of mentors ready to assist students that may be having a difficult time.
Private Study Areas
We provide private study areas for the children to stay on top of their work, and separate the skills workshops from their fundamental education.
Engagement Areas
Keeping students engaged all day can be difficult, but we find success through the use of recreational rooms, providing areas for students to socialise and relax.
