Boxing & Martial Arts
We have a purpose-built Brazilian Jiu Jitsu facility, equipped with an on-site gym area. Students have the opportunity to gain a Young Leaders Qualification with a focus on Sports Leadership, and eventually a Level 3 Sports Leadership Qualification.
Barbering Academy
MG Support Services have an impressive in-house barbering facility, lead by expert tutors who run their own salon businesses. This qualification provides a route to independence, and is a great way to earn income.
Building & Construction
Our on-site Introduction to Building & Construction course provides an NOCN Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development - Construction.
Mentoring & Counselling
We have an on-site counselling service should students wish to speak with someone. We also have a dedicated team of mentors ready to assist students that may be having a difficult time.
Private Study Areas
We provide private study areas for the children to stay on top of their work, and separate the skills workshops from their fundamental education.
Engagement Areas
Keeping students engaged all day can be difficult, but we find success through the use of recreational rooms, providing areas for students to socialise and relax.
Boxing & Martial Arts / Sports Leadership Qualifications
Boxing has been a hugely successful part of our provision in the past academic year and we will continue to offer this in September. Students will also have the chance to try their hand at Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, MMA, Thai Boxing & kickboxing. After many requests the new facility will have a dedicated weights and gym area for students looking to improve their general fitness and build muscle. If students wanted to pursue either boxing or BJJ, the gym offers further development and competitive opportunities for these students looking to progress even further.
A new addition to our programme from September will allow all students who attend MG Support to gain a young leaders qualification with a focus on sports leadership. If the students desire, they can then progress this qualification further and eventually attain a Level 3 in Sports Leadership from Leadership Skills Foundation. This is an exciting opportunity for all attendees of MG Support and a great addition to their resumes if they want to focus on sports coaching or personal training.
Barbering Academy
An exciting opportunity will be available to all students who attend MG Support Services. Our new facility will have its very own in-house Barbers. The salon will be fully equipped and fully functional barbershop.
The students will be taught by our expert tutors who have real life experience cutting hair and running their own salons. This is a fantastic opportunity for students to learn a transferrable skill that will allow them to work for themselves and immediately generate an income once fully qualified.
Demand for this course will be high and days will be limited. Therefore, we request that you enrol students as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
Introduction to
Building & Construction
MG Support Services are thrilled to offer a basic construction course for our students this September. The course will allow students to get a taste of a variety of trades and hopefully prepare them for any future career paths they may wish to pursue. We are excited to have a well experienced team on board that will be delivering this course to students.
The tutors have all run their own businesses in their respected trades and have over 30 plus years of experience to pass on to the students. MG Support is delighted to offer our students a NOCN Level 1 Certificate in Skills for Employment, Training and Personal Development – Construction.

Mentoring & Counselling
Building relationships and trust with the young people we work with is a fundamental part of the provision at MG Support.
We have a dedicated team of mentors ready to assist students that may be having a difficult time. Whether it be making use of the town centre on our doorstep, our dedicated recreational room or the fantastic facilities Hemel town has to offer, young people will have plenty to keep them occupied.
We are delighted to offer our very own on-site counselling services for any students that may wish to speak with someone. If you would like a student to attend, we would require a week’s notice to book their time slot. Much like many of our other services there will be a great demand for this. We do request that you contact us at the earliest opportunity to secure a place for your students.
